REFLEXIVE  PRONOUNS

Are used:

A)    When the objects and subjects in a sentence are the same.

Ex:  The stuntman cut himself on some broken glass.

B)   As object of preposition “by”  to mean alone.

Ex:  The girl went to the theater by herself.

C)   For emphasis.

Ex:  The actors themselves made the stunts in the movie.

SINGULAR: myself yourself himself, herself, itself, oneself
PLURAL: ourselves yourselves themselves
