We use some in positive sentences and any in negative sentences.

SOME:

I have some money with me.

We saw some automobiles in the street.

 

ANY:

I don’t have any money with me.

We didn’t see any automobiles in the street.

 

NO:  is the equivalent of not a or not any.

 

I have no money.

We saw no automobiles in the street.
